Pakistan is a country located in southern Asia. The region now straddling the border of present-day Pakistan and Afghanistan is one of the most torn regions of the world. Pakistan has over 190 million people and is the sixth most populous country in the world.

Islamabad is Pakistan’s capital city. Karachi is its largest and most populous city. The culture of Pakistan includes various different cultures and traditions which have been practiced by the people of this region for centuries.

The main languages spoken in Pakistan are Urdu, English, Punjabi, Pashto, Sindhi and Balochi. There are also many other regional languages spoken throughout the country. Pakistan’s culture is very diverse, with influences from Arab, Persian, Turkic, Afghan, and South Asian cultures.

The music of Pakistan includes traditional Pakistani folk music and classical music as well as modern filmi and pop music. Cricket is the most popular sport in Pakistan.

There are many festivals celebrated in Pakistan, such as Eid-ul-Fitr (marking the end of Ramadan), Eid-ul-Adha (celebrating the sacrifice made by Abraham), and Basant (welcoming spring).

Music and dance are an important part of Pakistani culture; traditional instruments include the sitar (string instrument) and tabla (drums). Cricket is perhaps the most popular sport in Pakistan; other popular sports include field hockey, squash, polo, and tennis.
