David Dahmer’s Life
David Dahmer was a serial killer who committed 17 murders between 1978 and 1991. Dahmer was known for cannibalism, necrophilia, and keeping the body parts of his victims preserved in formaldehyde. Dahmer was convicted of six counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. He died at the age of 35 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
David Dahmer’s trial took place from May 1988 until July 1991. Dahmer was accused of 17 counts of first-degree homicide and received a life sentence in prison with no chance of parole.
Dahmer was eventually found dead in his cell at the Wisconsin State Prison, likely from suicide, on November 22nd, 1994.

It is with a heavy heart that I report on the death of one of America’s most notorious serial killers, David Dahmer. Dahmer was discovered dead in his prison cell at the age of 44, apparently having committed suicide by consuming a lethal dose of barbiturates.
It is difficult to know what to make of Dahmer’s life and death, as he was a figure shrouded in mystery from childhood onwards. However, his crimes – including the rape and murder of seventeen men – will never be forgotten.
